We will consider how brave people brought down an oppressive government that, even months before its demise, had seemed invincible, and how, within a further few months, a country abolished itself, through a combination of statecraft, international assistance, and pressure from the streets.

There will be interactive elements to do the dayschool, allowing you to play the part of a travelling UK journalist or even a protester or newly-elected MP! No knowledge of German required.
