A manipulated fabric technique which you will use to make a pin cushion and a needle case. This is a hand sewing workshop.

Requirements

2 coordinating fat quarters of dress weight 100% cotton fabric
Small amount of 2oz polyester wadding or some toy stuffing
Cotton thread to match fabric
Hand sewing kit – needle, pins, small sharp scissors, thimble (if you use one)
Fabric marking pen/pencil
Ruler with 1/4″ markings
Fabric scissors or
Rotary cutting equipment if you have it (don’t buy especially)
For the needle case you will also need a skein of cotton perle 5 and a square of felt (you may wish to choose these once the needle case has been made
The tutor will have boxes of fat quarters with her and will also bring some stuffing and coloured felt in case anyone doesn’t have any.
