Ruth Gofton
With an MA in medieval history and a PG diploma in Heritage Management and Interpretation, Ruth has worked in the heritage sector for thirty years, initially with the National Trust (Knole, Shaw’s Corner, Standen and Tyntesfield) before becoming self-employed in 2010. Most of her projects are in the south west and have included the Clifton Suspension Bridge, Bristol Beacon, St George’s, Underfall Yard, Bishop’s Palace in Wells, Glastonbury Abbey, St Mary Magdalene church in Paddington, Tamar bridges and the Curzon.
