Cath Humphris studied Literature, Life & Thought with Creative Writing at John Moore’s University, Liverpool, then ‘Writing’ at Sheffield Hallam University.  She has an eclectic taste in literature and literary studies, that she enjoys sharing.

She believes that fiction is the key to understanding life, the universe and everything, and hopes that we will never stop trying to find out what that key looks like, or where it is – or pointing each other in numerous new directions.

Her aim in classes is to open up a work of fiction to see how many ways we can find to understand what the writer may, or may-not, have been doing, and how meanings and ideas shift, over time.
