Angie Smith
Dr Angie Smith is a freelance art historian. She studied Art History at Leicester University and holds a PhD in cultural history from the Warburg Institute, London University. She spent more than a decade teaching at undergraduate level and also in adult education for Leicester University during which time she also worked as a researcher for the National Inventory of Continental European Paintings.
She is an accredited lecturer for the Arts Society, has written many articles and books, most recently a co-authored history of Corpus Christi College, Oxford, and A Timeline for Family Historians published by Pen and Sword. She has led tours across Spain and lectures for cruise companies including Noble Caledonia. She is currently completing a Diploma in Genealogy with the Institute of Heraldic and Genealogical Studies. Her historical interests are many and varied.
