The life and work of artist Laura Knight.

Associated with art colonies on the Yorkshire coast and in Cornwall in her early years, Laura Knight became a popular and acclaimed artist. She was the first woman artist to be elected to full membership of the Royal Academy of Arts. This study day focuses in detail on Knight, her paintings, drawings and designs over the course of her long life, her dealings with other artists and friends across the arts.
