During the Looking at Old Churches Day School held a few years ago, there simply wasn’t time to explore interiors in any depth.

In this little course we aim to put things right and shall turn our attention to Monuments, Pulpits, Fonts, Lecterns, Screens and other fittings of interest inside churches. Many are beautiful but some are ugly. Others are just plain odd.

We are under no pressure, so we can rummage around inside lots of churches at a leisurely pace in comfortable warm surroundings.
